Description

Conservation of our natural resources is a prime concern to WSFGC. The Educators’ Scholarship is used for advanced training in environmental fields. Courses are given at colleges, universities and other teaching facilities around the state. The program is administered by WSFGC, with the assistance of the Office of the Washington State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

WSFGC Scholarship Fund benefits recipients at:

  • Washington State University
  • University of Washington
  • Huxley College of the Environment at Western Washington University.

 WSFGC annually awards seven scholarships with a minimum of $750.00 each to the following:

  • Washington State University: Horticulture, Landscape Design and Soil Sciences
  • University of Washington: Landscape Design, Forest Resources and Biology
  • Western Washington University: Huxley College of the Environment

Recipients are chosen by the professors in each of the Departments.
