2025 Undergraduate Research Symposium Schedule

The 28th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium will take place on the UW Seattle campus on Friday, May 16, 2025. This event is organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research, which facilitates research experiences for undergraduates in all academic disciplines. The event includes poster, visual arts and design, performing arts, and oral presentations by students from all academic disciplines and all three UW campuses, plus invited student presenters from peer institutions. The views expressed at the Undergraduate Research Symposium are students’ own views and do not necessarily reflect those of the University of Washington.

Welcome Address

UW President Ana Mari Cauce and Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs Ed Taylor will congratulate presenters with a kickoff welcome address at 11:00 a.m. in the Mary Gates Hall Commons.

Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award Undergraduate Research Symposium presenters are given an opportunity to nominate their mentor for the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award.
