Description

The fund provides emergency financial assistance to University of Washington economics majors with junior/senior standing whose need threatens their abilibty to graduate. The scholarship is typically awarded to juniors as the recipient is chosen each May and the award is dispersed the following year.

Eligibility
Applicants must have maintained an academic standing that gives them a reasonable expectation of being able to earn their bachelor's degree in economics.

You must be eligible for financial aid, as determined by the University of Washington Financial Aid Office.  If you did not apply for financial aid by the February 28 deadline, go to the Financial Aid Office in 105 Schmitz Hall and do so immediately.

Procedure

To apply, you must submit a completed application form and unofficial transcript to the Economics Advising Office by the deadline. Application forms are available at http://econ.washington.edu/undergrad/.
