Description
The Foundation is proud to announce its New Need-based Renewable Scholarships for graduating high school seniors.
Students have the opportunity to be considered for:
- $20,000 award over four years (paid in $5,000 annual installments) for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- $5,000 award over two years (paid in $2,500 installments) for students pursuing an associate degree
Eligibility
Eligibility Requirements for SME Education Foundation scholarships:
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- A U.S. citizen or a non-citizen eligible to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

- Must be Pell Grant eligible
- Applying as a full-time student with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- On a path toward an associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology or a closely related engineering or technology discipline
