The Scottish Rite Scholarship Foundation of Washington scholarship program was designed for undergraduate college students that are attending a college or university in the State of Washington and are also a resident of Washington.  Every year, numerous awards of $3000 each are given to university students going into their third, fourth, and even fifth year of college.

The scholarships are based upon academic performance, leadership roles in school, and participation in community activities.

Eligibility

To apply for an undergraduate scholarship from the Scottish Rite Foundation of Washington you must be able to substantiate the following qualifications.

  • A U.S. Citizen
  • A Washington State Resident
  • An entering 3rd year (Junior), 4th year (Senior) or if required for degree, 5th year undergraduate*
  • Attending an NWCCU accredited 4-year college or university in the State of Washington as a full time student for the full academic year**
  • Maintaining a college level GPA (or equivalent) of at least 3.0

*Fifth (5th) year requirement must be verified by college or university.

**Distance Learning and/or On-Line Classes will not be considered when determining your full-time status.
