The Jack and Jill of America Foundation is committed to the ongoing positive development of African American youth and the development of future leaders.

The Jack and Jill of America Foundation-Jacqueline Moore Bowles scholarship  is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving college students with financial need seeking a degree from a U.S.A. accredited four-year college and/or university. The award can cover the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees. The award(s) will vary based the amount of funding available.

  1. Be African American and a US citizen or permanent resident.
  2. Be currently classified as a college freshman, sophomore, or junior. 
  3. Be enrolled full-time for the fall 2021 semester at any accredited 4-year college or university.
  4. Be majoring in Communications.
  5. Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  6. Have completed a minimum of 60 hours of volunteer work and/or community service between June 2020 - June 2021.
  7. Have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) and have a demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by the applicant's institution.
