Description
FEA invests in deserving U.S. undergraduates who are least likely to study abroad. More than 100 volunteer reviewers read applications each cycle.
Eligibility
To be eligible for an FEA scholarship, you must be:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient
- Be enrolled as an undergraduate at a U.S. institution of higher education at the time of application (graduate students are not eligible)
- Receive credit at your home institution for the program or experience abroad
- Be studying abroad for at least 14 days
- Have not previously studied abroad for any length of time after your high school graduation
- Have demonstrated financial need

Application components
- Online application form
- Unofficial transcript upload
- Financial Aid Form (to be filled out by financial aid office, returned to student, and uploaded by student applicant)
- Recommendation letter (only 1, submitted by a professor, advisor, or supervisor)
- It is the responsibility of each applicant to ensure FEA receives all application components by the deadline.
