Award supported by the Opera Foundation Inc., the America-Berlin  and America-Turin scholarships give talented singers across the country to study abroad at the famous Deutsche Oper Berlin or Teatro Regio Torino.

 recipients will travel to Berlin, Munich and/or Turin. The term of scholarship is 10
Eligibility
  • The scholarship competition is open to US citizens and permanent residents between the ages of 18 and 30. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in the New York auditions. Transportation to and from New York is at the candidate's own expense.
  • You will need to pay a non-refundable $40 application processing fee.

Procedure

Selected candidates will be invited to participate in auditions held in New York City in March. (Transportation to NYC is at the applicants own expense.)

  1. A photocopy of your Birth certificate, Green Card or US Passport.
  2. A current Resume/CV.
  3. A recent photograph.
  4. The $40 application processing fee (non-refundable).
  5. Send your completed application to the address on the website.
