Award supported by the Opera Foundation Inc., the America-Berlin  and America-Turin scholarships give talented singers across the country to study abroad at the famous Deutsche Oper Berlin or Teatro Regio Torino.

 recipients will travel to Berlin, Munich and/or Turin. The term of scholarship is 10
Eligibility

The scholarship competition is open to US citizens and permanent residents between the ages of 18 and 30. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in the New York auditions. Transportation to and from New York is at the candidate's own expense. Audition will be held in early February 2023 (Date to be announced), at the Liederkranz Club in New York.

Procedure

In order to complete your application, you will need to pay a non-refundable $40 application processing fee. You may do this using PayPal after completing the online form. Also, please make sure you provide a copy of your Birth Certificate, Green Card, or US Passport. You will also need to provide a current Resume/CV and a recent photograph.

The online form is SSL encrypted in order to provide you with the best security possible while processing your application. In addition, all of your information will be stored on a secured server and deleted after each audition cycle.
