Description
The Crabby Beach Scholarships in Art and the Kathryn Hinckley-Martin Scholarships in Art provide financial assistance to entering freshmen or transfer students admitted for Autumn quarter who intend to major in art, art history or design at the University of Washington School of Art + Art History + Design (SoA+AH+D).
Selection is based on academic achievement at prior schools, commitment to a major in the School of Art + Art History + Design, and financial need.

The Crabby Beach Foundation Scholarship in Art
The Kathryn Hinckley-Martin Scholarship in Art
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Crabby Beach Foundation Scholarship in Art, you must be a freshmen or transfer student who:
- has applied and been accepted to the UW, and will start as a full-time undergrad beginning Autumn quarter 2017
- is intending to major in art, art history or design at the UW School of Art
- is a Washington state resident
To be eligible for the Kathryn Hinckley-Martin Scholarship in Art, you must be a freshmen or transfer student who:
- has applied and been accepted to the UW, and will start as a full-time undergrad beginning Autumn quarter 2018
- is intending to major in art, art history or design at the UW School of Art
- freshman
- sophomore
- junior
- senior
- US Citizen
- Permanent Resident
- Undocumented
