The ARCF offers the following Education Recognition Awards to students who are currently enrolled in accredited respiratory care education programs. All awards include a certificate of recognition, coach airfare, one night's lodging, and registration for the AARC Congress. Morton B. Duggan, Jr. Memorial Education Recognition Award
Awarded to a student currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program. Applicants are accepted from all states but preference given to candidates from Georgia and South Carolina. May award up to $1,000.
Jimmy A. Young Memorial Education Recognition Award
Awarded to a student currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program. Preference is given to candidates of minority origin. May award up to $1,000.
NBRC/AMP William W. Burgin, Jr., MD and Robert M. Lawrence, MD Education Recognition Award
Awarded to a student currently in their third or fourth year of an accredited respiratory care education program leading to a Baccalaureate degree. It may award up to $7,500 annually.
Eligibility
- A student from Georgia or South Carolina currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program
- A student of minority origin currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program
- A student currently in their third or fourth year of an accredited respiratory care education program leading to a Baccalaureate degree
