American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF) Education Recognition Awards for Undergraduate Students

The ARCF offers the following Education Recognition Awards to students who are currently enrolled in accredited respiratory care education programs. All awards include a certificate of recognition, coach airfare, one night's lodging, and registration for the AARC Congress. Morton B. Duggan, Jr. Memorial Education Recognition Award
Awarded to a student currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program. Applicants are accepted from all states but preference given to candidates from Georgia and South Carolina. May award up to $1,000.

Jimmy A. Young Memorial Education Recognition Award
Awarded to a student currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program. Preference is given to candidates of minority origin. May award up to $1,000. 

NBRC/AMP William W. Burgin, Jr., MD and Robert M. Lawrence, MD Education Recognition Award

Awarded to a student currently in their third or fourth year of an accredited respiratory care education program leading to a Baccalaureate degree. It may award up to $7,500 annually.

Eligibility
The ARCF offers three different scholarships, with different criteria, to undergraduate enrolled in accredited respiratory care education programs (and available to WA residents). You may be eligible if you meet one of the eligibilities below.
 
  • A student from Georgia or South Carolina currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program
  • A student of minority origin currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program
  • A student currently in their third or fourth year of an accredited respiratory care education program leading to a Baccalaureate degree
