Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation Scholarship

Website: AKA EAF

Description

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization, created to fill a void in education funding. Its mission is to provide financial support to individuals and organizations engaged in lifelong learning. As one of the few such organizations administered by African American women, it has a unique approach to philanthropy that allows it to meet the diverse needs of a complex society.

At the heart of EAF’s commitment is the idea that academic excellence comes in many forms. There are three ways in which the Foundation carries out its mission: Academic Scholarships, Fellowships and Community Assistance Awards (formerly known as Mini Grant).

There are several scholarships available for students at different points in their academic careers, undergraduate and graduate, some take financial need into consideration and others do not. Please see https://akaeaf.org/scholarships for full details.
