The Seattle branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be awarding $3000 - $15,000 scholarships to students. 2025-2026 scholarships will be available to WA returning undergraduate students whose college education has been interrupted and who are at least 24 years of age. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Eligibility requirements:

• Are at least 24 years of age and have had their college education interrupted.  
• Graduated from high school in King County.
• Are (A) accepted at a WA public, 4-year college/university*, OR (B) accepted into a B.A.S. program at Green River College, Highline College, North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, Shoreline Community College, or South Seattle College.
• Do not already have a Bachelor’s degree.
• Will be enrolled at least half time (6+ credits) for a full academic year. Students who have already made their way back to UW are not eligible. 
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient.
• This scholarship is open to everyone who meet the criteria.
