An educator, mentor, advocate and community-builder, Ruby dedicated her life to creating opportunities for children and supporting those who would become the next generation of educators. Through her leadership, warmth and unwavering commitment to equity, she inspired students, colleagues and community partners to believe in the transformative power of education.

The Ruby Linsao Early Learning Scholarship continues that ripple effect by supporting students who are committed to advancing early learning, literacy and educational equity. Each recipient carries forward the values Ruby embodied: service, leadership, compassion and a belief that education can change lives. 

The Undergraduate General Scholarship application through the College of Education allows students to apply for multiple scholarships simultaneously. Students must be in a College of Education undergraduate program in order to apply and receive this scholarship. 

The Undergraduate General Scholarship application for the College of Education usually opens early May and is due late May.
